Maps Editor App for Google Android G1

Google have launched a new App for their Android G1 handset, the new My Maps Editor allows users to create, edit, share as well as personalize maps on the go. Users are also able to synchronize them with the My Maps tab which can be found on the Google Maps web application.
Google have said that users of My Maps Editor will get to use the full editing functionality for lines. Markers and shapes on maps, it is also possible for users to attach a photo to a map direct from their cell phone, with the built-in GPS.
Google have said that the new app makes it possible to edit Google Maps content directly on their T-Mobile G1 handset. The “My Maps Editor” allows users to edit their maps on their handset by syncing over-the-air via their Google account.
